About the Lean Six Sigma White Belt certification

Lean Six Sigma combines two improvement approaches. Lean, created by Taiichi Ohno for Toyota, focuses on customer satisfaction through on-time delivery and minimum use of resources. Six Sigma, created at Motorola and later refined by General Electric, is a data-driven methodology that uses statistical tools to eliminate defects and improve processes.

The White Belt is the foundational level. It does not require prior experience or a paid course, and it prepares you to understand improvement projects and support them within a team. You study the official material at your own pace, take the exam online when you feel ready, and only pay if you decide to make your result official.
